This position is based in our Bakersfield rehabilitation center, a collaborative and high-energy environment focused on patient outcomes. Our facility is purposefully designed to facilitate rehabilitation, equipped with advanced technologies and therapeutic equipment to promote effective clinical interventions. Implement direct physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and enhancing muscle function in alignment with personalized care plans.

Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they adhere to the treatment plans and contribute effectively to patient progress.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional capabilities, documenting results to tailor individualized interventions.

Deliver in-home physical therapy services as required, demonstrating flexibility in care delivery to meet patient needs.

Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises and treatments—including manual therapy, traction, and massages—designed to facilitate patient recovery.

Evaluate and recommend modifications to prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary to optimize usability and comfort.

Engage in ongoing development, review, and updates of patient care plans through active participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Actively conduct functional assessments and community resource evaluations to enhance patient support and identify additional service needs.

Our rehabilitation center serves a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. The clientele varies from elderly patients requiring geriatric care to athletes needing rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Physical Therapists play a critical role in enhancing recovery strategies and supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey.

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in acute care or home care settings is essential.

Current active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of California is mandatory.

Exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and ethical practice.

Knowledge of current federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.

While a minimum of one year of experience in a related field is required, candidates with advanced specialties in orthopedic, neurological, or pediatric therapy are highly desirable.
