Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence in our modern rehabilitation facility in Bakersfield, where we foster an atmosphere of compassion and professionalism. You will operate within a vibrant team dedicated to helping patients navigate their recovery journeys, ensuring they feel supported and motivated through all stages of treatment. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the physical therapy needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each session is tailored to foster recovery.
• Utilize EMR software platforms, such as WebPT, to document patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and lifestyle modifications that promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to help them achieve their functional potential.
• Document all services and care provided in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bonneville Peak, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele includes active individuals ranging from recreational athletes to those pursuing rehabilitation post-surgery. With a focus on restoring function and enhancing mobility, your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these patients resume their daily activities and improve their life satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist, with a clean record regarding board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrable skills in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of rehabilitation methodologies.
• Experience in patient assessment and the ability to create tailored exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with sports medicine cases and diverse patient demographics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient relationships and teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
