Key Responsibilities

• Use your expertise to direct personalized physical therapy treatment with a focus on preventing disability and relieving pain.
• Develop, implement, and continuously assess individual treatment plans that focus on restoring muscle function and maximizing the patient's performance capabilities.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities by conducting comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional capabilities.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of treatment plans, guiding them through complex procedures when necessary.
• Conduct evaluations of patients' home environments and provide recommendations to enhance their independence during recovery.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and physical modalities such as traction and massage, while instructing patients in both manual and non-manual therapeutic activities.
• Document clinical records, progress notes, and treatment recommendations systematically and submit them in a timely manner to maintain compliance and facilitate the review process.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and collaborating on comprehensive care approaches for each patient.
• Maintain open communication with patients and their families, providing education on the treatment process and recovery expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary population you will serve includes individuals with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. Our patients range from active adults to elderly clients, each with unique needs that require tailored treatment plans to ensure effective recovery and improved function.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and an active, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Creative and innovative thinker capable of adapting therapeutic modalities to meet the individual needs of clients.
• Proven ability to make sound clinical decisions and accept accountability for patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred, candidates with diverse backgrounds in both acute care and home care settings are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
