Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. is actively seeking a passionate and committed full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our cutting-edge rehabilitation center in Bakersfield, California. In this role, you will become a vital part of the patient recovery process, guiding individuals toward regaining motion, enhancing mobility, and achieving their best functional outcomes. You will engage in a variety of therapeutic practices that cater to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

As a PT-owned practice, we take pride in delivering personalized, evidence-based care to individuals primarily covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, emphasizing teamwork among our staff. You will be joining a close-knit team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). We operate on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. This onsite setting fosters direct interactions with patients and the opportunity to implement individualized treatment plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address each patient's unique goals and needs, creating tailored treatment plans that foster recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload, focusing on one-on-one treatment sessions to ensure personalized care.
• Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions designed to improve patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and other evidence-based practices to enhance physical function.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment techniques and approaches.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging persistence and dedication to therapy.
• Engage in regular evaluations to monitor treatment outcomes, progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care services in compliance with regulatory standards and maintain clear and effective communication with patients and staff.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals who require orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from injury or surgical procedures. Qualifications

• ADoctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California is mandatory.
• A clean professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create innovative treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
• Experience utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
