Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Bakersfield, California. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies to support comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for consistency and dedicated patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to address the specific goals and needs of patients.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives the dedicated attention and care they require for optimal recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to offer cost-effective treatments that enhance mobility and physical function, while exploring non-surgical alternatives to pain management.
• Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs that are in alignment with the unique objectives of each patient, promoting a lasting impact on their health.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatment services provided and monitor patient progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care and support patient recovery.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects and communicate openly with patients regarding their progress and any necessary modifications to their care plan.

At Strive Rehabilitation Services, our primary patient demographic consists of individuals with private medical insurance, who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens are essential.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, is preferred to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, allowing for a smoother transition into our practice's culture and patient care model.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy and exercise prescription will enhance the candidate's effectiveness in treating our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
