Work Environment

This position requires on-site presence at our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to holistic patient care. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy a work-life balance while making a significant impact in the lives of your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and identify the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patient mobility, minimizing reliance on medications, and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Offer customized fitness and wellness programs that address the unique requirements of each patient, enhancing their recovery process.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by communicating and working closely with other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Document all services provided meticulously to ensure accurate patient care records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, which include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. Many of our patients are active individuals looking to regain their previous level of function, particularly athletes or sports enthusiasts. Your role will be integral to guiding them through non-invasive recovery options and encouraging long-term wellness and lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy methodologies and developing effective exercise routines.
• Strong experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient rapport and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, helping you to apply your skills effectively within our specialized environment.
• Experience with community outreach and patient education initiatives is a plus, as we value proactive engagement with our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, reflective of your expertise and contributions to our team.
