Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine facilities. As a PT-owned practice, we take pride in our personalized approach, catering primarily to individuals with private medical insurance. Our small team consists of two dedicated physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), promoting a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our rehabilitation center located in the heart of Bakersfield, CA, where we foster a team-oriented culture. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work schedule that allows for work-life balance. You will have access to cutting-edge treatment modalities and resources to effectively serve our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's goals and requirements, ensuring tailored treatment plans that promote optimal recovery.
• Manage a structured caseload, seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused, individualized care.
• Implement effective, cost-efficient treatment strategies to improve clients' range of motion and mobility, focusing on their specific needs.
• Educate patients on the benefits of physical therapy in reducing their reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Create and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to deliver high-quality, individualized care that focuses on improved functional outcomes.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive rehabilitation experience.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain clear communication to ensure ongoing adjustments to care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and care services provided accurately to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves individuals with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Holds a valid license as a Physical Therapist in California with an impeccable professional record free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing and implementing exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable to effectively address the complexities of patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate patients in their recovery efforts, ensuring a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
• A background in utilizing innovative treatment modalities and techniques to enhance patient outcomes will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
