Work Environment

The role is a full-time position primarily focused on home care, providing therapists the flexibility to work in various environments tailored to patients' needs. The position entails a Monday through Friday, 40-hour work week. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Thoroughly assess patients referred by physicians to determine personalized treatment plans.
• Treatment Implementation: Design and execute therapeutic strategies that are consistent with medical guidelines, tracking patient progress along the way.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a healthcare team, leveraging collective expertise to optimize patient outcomes.
• Education and Training: Deliver comprehensive education to patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation goals.
• Customer Service: Exhibit excellent customer service skills to enhance patient satisfaction and foster lasting relationships.
• Utilization Goals: Meet or exceed established utilization metrics and business objectives that contribute to our organizational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will cater to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, orthopedic, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. Each day will provide unique challenges and opportunities to implement tailored interventions. By employing evidence-based techniques, you will help facilitate meaningful recovery experiences, ensuring each patient achieves their functional goals and maintains an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly for documentation and reporting purposes.
• A proven ability to cultivate strong therapeutic relationships that motivate patients to reach their goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health physical therapy is highly desirable, enabling you to navigate patient-centered care in a home-based setting.
• Specialized knowledge in treating patients with varying needs within orthopedic and sports medicine fields.
• A background in engaging diverse populations and adjusting strategies to meet unique patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees benefit from performance-based incentives, reimbursement for local and national organizational dues, and license renewal fees.
