Work Environment

The position is full-time and will require you to work onsite, directly engaging with patients in our modern rehabilitation facility. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while you focus on delivering high-quality therapeutic services. You will collaborate closely with a team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a collaborative and supportive professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish treatment objectives and tailor rehabilitation plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload where you will typically treat one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and focused care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities—including manual therapy techniques and exercise programs—to enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Explore non-invasive alternatives to surgery and minimize patients' reliance on medications as part of your treatment plan.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to maximize their functional abilities and overall wellness.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. We cater mainly to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a diverse clientele requiring personalized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with an active license to practice physical therapy in California.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Proficient in employing manual therapy techniques and developing individualized exercise regimens.
• Ability to navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing evidence-based practices for treatment and rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing and implementing patient-specific wellness and fitness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with comprehensive benefits.
