Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, managing a diverse patient caseload and ensuring coordination with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all treatments align with prescribed plans of care.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and communicating findings with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic exercises, adaptive appliances, and home-based care strategies to promote independence and ongoing recovery.
• Prioritize caseload effectively, managing daily staffing needs and ensuring smooth transitions of care through appropriate assignment and hand-off practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with both adult and pediatric patients dealing with a spectrum of conditions related to orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will engage with a diverse group of individuals, fostering positive relationships and enhancing their rehabilitation journey through tailored interventions.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from an accredited program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required, clinical internships or coursework in outpatient settings are beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
