Work Environment

This role is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Bakersfield, California. You will work in a low-volume, intimate setting that encourages meaningful interactions with clients. Our clinic is equipped with the latest technologies, including Normatec compression therapy and the Neubie by NeuFit, tools that are also utilized in professional sports. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to devise personalized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and timelines.

• Implement a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and technology-assisted modalities to facilitate optimal rehabilitation.

• Document progress and maintain comprehensive clinical records to communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

• Engage in proactive follow-up communications with both current and prospective patients to ensure a seamless care experience.

• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented approach, sharing patient caseloads for a holistic therapeutic experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily comprises health-conscious individuals aged 35 and older, including active athletes and some elite competitors. Our clientele deeply values their health and demonstrates a willingness to commit to their rehabilitation programs, making for rewarding interactions during therapy. We also cater to children and teens with orthopedic issues, ensuring a well-rounded approach to diverse age groups and conditions. Some patients may also present vestibular or post-concussion conditions, where your expertise will be invaluable.

Qualifications

• State license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.

• Minimum of five years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Proven manual therapy skills and a passion for overcoming challenges in patient care.

• Demonstrated commitment to continual learning and professional development.

• A willingness to contribute to small group fitness classes, demonstrating leadership and community engagement skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or certification in Pilates and/or specialized training in areas such as NAIOMT or IASTM are highly desirable.

• Experience treating vestibular or post-concussion patients will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, reflecting your skill and experience.
