Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs, including evaluating their current abilities and future goals.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically treating one individual per hour to ensure focused and attentive care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving physical function and recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to foster comprehensive care.
• Document patient interactions and progress in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically using WebPT.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by providing motivation and support tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will positively impact patients navigating their recovery journeys, whether they are professional athletes, active adults, or elderly individuals seeking to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Strong foundation in the principles of orthopedic rehabilitation and current best practices in physical therapy.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Comfortable using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• A strong record of developing and implementing successful rehabilitation programs.
• Ability to mentor less experienced staff members or students, promoting professional growth within the team.

Compensation and Benefits
