We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Bakersfield, California. Work Environment

Located in the thriving community of Bakersfield, our 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is well-equipped with modern rehabilitation tools essential for patient success. The environment fosters teamwork and collaboration, allowing healthcare professionals to share insights and develop effective treatment strategies. You will be provided a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, with work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify the objectives and physical therapy needs of patients.
• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercise techniques, and wellness programs.
• Administer one-on-one patient care, managing a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, while ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices during treatment sessions to enhance patient outcomes and functional improvements.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Educate and motivate patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation journey, promoting a proactive approach toward recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate multi-disciplinary approaches for optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and methodologies within the physical therapy field to continuously improve patient care practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• Proven expertise in delivering orthopedic rehabilitation services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and individualized care planning.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly familiarity with platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in utilizing manual therapy techniques and developing exercise regimens tailored for rehabilitation.
• A history of success in promoting patient engagement and adherence to prescribed therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
