Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered therapeutic care tailored to individual needs, ensuring collaboration with physicians and valuable input from the patient care team.
• Complete thorough patient assessments upon their initial and ongoing visits, facilitating the development and execution of tailored care plans aligning with patient goals.
• Deliver consistent physical therapy sessions while overseeing other therapy interventions, ensuring a comprehensive continuum of care.
• Conduct physical evaluations, interpreting functional independence, therapeutic needs, and progress, which directly influences the overall treatment strategy.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions both onsite and potentially in patients' homes, adapting methods to align with physician recommendations.
• Educate and empower patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment to support recovery outside of sessions.
• Manage caseloads effectively, coordinating schedules and adjusting therapy assignments as needed to optimize care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population facing various orthopedic challenges, including post-operative recovery and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of California.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or a commitment to obtain it within 30 days of starting.
• A strong commitment to exceptional patient care with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required, candidates with clinical rotations or internships in orthopedic settings will be particularly valuable to our team. Your previous exposure to therapeutic modalities, patient diagnostics, and treatment protocols will enhance your ability to contribute effectively in this role.
