Contract | 13 or 26 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting during night shifts
• Adhere to Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding protocols as part of patient care delivery
• Float within scope of practice to other units as operationally needed
• Participate in facility orientation modules, including specialty-specific training, during the onboarding period
• Comply with scheduling requirements, including 3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period and 2 of 3 winter holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Virginia RN license (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with neonatal-specific documentation and workflows
