Job Description

*We are a looking for a guest service representative to join our team at the Coral Key Inn, a charming 21 room boutique hotel located in Lauderdale by The Sea.

Complete knowledge at all times of:

All hotel features/services, hours of operation.
All room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and location.
All room rates, special packages and promotions.
Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
Room availability status for any given day.
Scheduled daily group activities.

What we’re looking for:

Guest Service Representative
A warm, people-oriented demeanor
Providing superior and friendly customer service
possesses strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills
Checking guests in and out
Keeping record of room availability and guests' accounts
to make, confirm and cancel reservations for guest
be able to answer inquiries of room reservations through phone or email.
Resolving customer issues in a fast and friendly manner
Answering phones, making reservations and anything else required to key the hotel clean and the guests satisfied
A team first attitude
Detail oriented and able to multitask
Managing housekeepers. letting them which rooms needs to be clean, informed of any special requests, late check outs, and special needs areas
if needed to help other team members
Use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people
Communicate well with many different kinds of people
Speak clearly and listen carefully
Change easily and frequently from one activity to another such as from typing to interviewing, to searching in a directory, to using a telephone

Experience:

Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
Hotel Front desk: 1 year (required)
