Setting: Hospital/Call Labor & Delivery

Reason for Coverage: Short staffed

Beds: 17 total (12 postpartum, 5 birthing suites)

Delivery Volume: 746 total deliveries last year

Nursery Level: II

Average Nursery Admissions: Usually under 10/day

Onsite Labs & Ultrasound

EMR: Epic

Support: Midwives take call and deliver their own patients

Low volume of C-section patients

Board Certified REQUIRED

Active Kentucky License REQUIRED (IMLC accepted)

BLS Certified REQUIRED

Active DEA REQUIRED

COVID Vaccination Preferred

Must be able to cover any of the listed dates REQUIRED

Coverage Type: Hospital call coverage

Routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps)

Decision-making for C-sections

Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions)
