Human Resources GeneralistWe are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Winston-Salem. This is a hands-on, highly visible position supporting 200+ employees in a large manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is personable and approachable, but also confident handling employee issues and making decisions independently. You'll work closely with an HR Manager who supports multiple locations, so we're looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day HR responsibilities without needing constant direction.Responsibilities:Employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminationsRecruiting, interviewing, and hiringNew hire onboarding and orientationTraining and employee developmentPerformance management and supervisor supportBenefits and general HR administrationHRIS updates and employee recordsEmployee engagement and recognition programsCoordinate company events, luncheons, and employee activitiesSupport HR policies, procedures, and employment law complianceMaintain a strong presence and build relationships with employees on the production floorQualifications:3+ years of hands-on HR Generalist experienceManufacturing, distribution, or similar high-volume environment strongly preferredStrong employee relations and investigation experienceComfortable working with hourly employees and front-line supervisorsAbility to work independently and make sound HR decisionsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHRIS experience required; UKG experience is a plusBachelor's degree preferred
