Sr. Human Resources Generalist

Job Description Primo Water Corporation “Primo” is a fast growing consumer products company specializing in providing high-quality water for homes is seeking a passionate, self-motivated, experienced human resources professional to fill a Sr. Human Resources Generalist position at its headquarters location in Winston‑Salem, NC. Under limited supervision, the ideal candidate will be a change agent for “Primo Way” - the Company’s purpose and strategic direction. This position will be in partnership with the HR team and will provide high level general human resources services to diverse local and remote employees nationwide. Duties will include on‑boarding, talent management, performance and compensation management, employee relations, policy administration and the management of the Company’s Affirative Action Plan. Partial Responsibilities Support the recruitment and onboarding process for both hourly and salaried positions to ensure that qualified candidates are identified on a timely basis and that are effectively transitioned to the Company. Conduct and oversee employee training and development to include workplace diversity, EEO, harassment prevention, supervisory skills training, performance management, etc. Assist with the development and annual review of the Company’s Compensation Program to include modifying job descriptions, job analysis, conducting complex to routine wage analysis and benchmarking; develop/maintain wage structure, make recommendations to VP Human Resources as needed. Assist and support the Company’s metric‑oriented Balanced Scorecard program to include annual performance review and merit increase processes; coach and educate supervisors/managers on proper use of the performance management processes and its alignment to the Balanced Scorecard. Assist Supervisors/Managers in drafting Corrective Actions. Follow, comply with and advise on complex to routine company policies, established procedures and applicable state and federal wage and hour and employment laws. Independently investigate complex‑routine complaints of Harassment or Discrimination and employee relations issues as needed ensuring appropriate policy & legal compliance and resolution, escalating very complex issues to VP Human Resources. Manage and oversee Primo’s Affirative Action Program to include training of supervisors/managers and to ensure compliance. Assist with designing/revising HRIS tables, codes, process flows, portal design etc. for HRIS System; develop/provide complex to routine HRIS reporting as required and needed. Assist and comply with SOX requirements related to HR processes. Design new initiatives to meet business objectives, makes recommendations to VP Human Resources. Develop new or improved HR processes, forms, checklists to maximize efficiency, reduce redundancy, satisfy legal requirements, control costs and comply with business conduct guidelines. Draft, update, revise policies and Employee Handbook as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and 5-7 years directly related experience with at least 3-4 years at the professional exempt level in compensation program management, performance management, employee relations, HRIS in a client‑focused HR Generalist role. Strong working knowledge of compensation strategies, system administration and processes, job description and job family development, employee relations, and performance management. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR strategies, business writing. Must be extremely detail‑oriented and very accurate, especially with numbers. Must have the ability to build partnerships at all levels, coach employees and management, and demonstrate ability to be a change agent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate‑advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with internet and social media applications.
