Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00am–7:30pm / 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Stepdown/IMC/PCU unit, with potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet operational demands, including working at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations, within the allowable attempts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty; travel experience in Stepdown may be considered
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred, though combined experience across locations will be considered
