Position Summary The Harvest Market Associate supports day-to-day operations of UMMA’s food distribution program. This includes checking in clients, stocking and organizing inventory, and providing a respectful and compassionate experience for every person we serve. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, comfortable with technology, and able to lift and move boxes as needed. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in clients using a simple digital system Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing food and supplies Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Support crowd flow and answer questions from clients Communicate clearly and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds Report any issues or needs to the Program Manager or Director of Operations & Programs Other duties as assigned to support program success Qualifications Basic computer skills (comfortable using a tablet or check-in software) Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong people skills, patience, and compassion Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus Previous customer service or food distribution experience is helpful but not required Work Environment & Schedule This position is in-person at UMMA’s Harvest Market.
