Assistant Designer

Assistant Designer- Women's Apparel Client Overview: Innovative, multi-category fashion house, which manufactures, designs and markets to a mass consumer base throughout the United States Position Overview: Assistant Designer supports the design team in the creative execution of product lines. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Designer in developing seasonal lines, including technical sketches, line sheets, and CADs.
- Create presentation boards and other visual tools for milestone meetings.
- Support preparations for Color & Concept reviews, Line Presentations, and other key meetings.
- Complete and coordinate design details for product development with the technical design team.
- Assist in the selection of trims for development and follow up with production to ensure timely execution.
- Degree in apparel design, fashion design, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in apparel design- internships included
- Working knowledge of garment construction and measurements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 24 Seven Talent
