Construction Project Manager - Greater Sacramento, CA

Job Details A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their Northern California operations. Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year. Stable backlog of work throughout Northern California Strong reputation and long-standing client relationships Collaborative leadership team with a commitment to employee development Competitive compensation package, performance incentives, vehicle allowance, and comprehensive benefits Clear path for long-term career growth and leadership opportunities What You'll Do Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and procurement logs Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, job costing, and change order management Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure project milestones, safety requirements, and quality standards are achieved Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges Build and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects Background working for a general contractor or construction management firm Experience overseeing projects ranging from several million dollars to larger, complex commercial developments Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, and project administration Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and drive project success from start to finish Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-hyphen-solving skills Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience Commercial, healthcare, education, civic, industrial, aviation, mission-critical, hospitality, or public-sector construction experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
