RF Test Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking an RF Test Technician in Hudson, NH for a six-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.


The RF Test Technician will support engineering teams by testing, troubleshooting, modifying, and supporting complex RF, electronic, and electro-mechanical assemblies. This role involves hands-on RF debug, test planning, data analysis, component selection, and technical support in a research, design, and development environment.


Required Skills

• Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent, plus 4 years of directly related experience, or military technical "A" school.
• Hands-on test and troubleshooting experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• RF test and debug experience.
• Experience constructing, modifying, and supporting the design and development of complex electronic circuits.
• Ability to determine circuit values for specified performance using mathematical calculations.
• Ability to select and specify optimal components for electronic systems or subsystems based on environmental and operating conditions.
• Experience troubleshooting and testing highly complex assemblies and systems using electro-mechanical, electronic, and/or inspection instruments.
• Ability to determine test requirements and test procedures.
• Experience conducting tests and experiments on electronic systems and subsystems.
• Ability to analyze test results and recommend design revisions or equipment modifications to improve performance.
• Ability to compile, review, analyze, and present complex engineering data.
• Ability to plan or assist in planning complex tests to evaluate equipment performance.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift if needed.
• Experience using computer-aided design and analysis tools.
• Experience with RF troubleshooting, RF debug, electronic test equipment, electro-mechanical assemblies, test procedures, circuit analysis, component selection, engineering data analysis, and complex production or development testing.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical support to engineering personnel in research, design, and development environments.
• Perform non-routine, complex assignments involving portions of larger engineering projects or complete limited-scope projects.
• Select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, and layouts.
• Construct, modify, and support development of complex electronic circuits.
• Determine circuit values and support component selection for electronic systems and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and test complex RF, electronic, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Determine test requirements and develop or support test procedures.
• Conduct tests and experiments on electronic systems and subsystems.
• Analyze results and recommend design or equipment changes to improve performance.
• Implement approved recommendations.
• Compile, analyze, and present technical data needed to support engineering objectives.
• Plan or support complex equipment performance testing.

Work Schedule / Shift

• 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
• 7:00 AM-3:00 PM.
• Overtime expected as needed.

Pay

• $48.14/hour
