Job Description

We are looking for Versatile, curious, and energetic Software Engineers who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Software Engineer in the VIP Middleware Applications group, you will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing, designing, building,testingandmaintainingproducts that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology, you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.

As a VIP Middleware Applications SoftwareEngineer,you will:

• Develop /maintainefficient applications, communication,databaseand operating systems code capable of processing large message volumes in a quickly evolving payments world
• Provide support and problem resolution for Visa's online authorization system
• Perform business and technical analysis, design, code, unit/system test,implementationand documentation of solutions
• Develop onmultiple operating systems using multiple languages
• Gain exposure tozTPFoperating systems internals (control program, network / communications, IO, database access), working in lockstep with the IBMzTPFDevelopment Lab.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity,Businessor a related field, graduatingMay2025 - August 2026.

Preferred Qualifications

• C/C++ and OO design preferred
• Experience with communication protocols,databasesand Linux a plus
• Strong oral and written communications skills, and the ability to work well within ateam settingrequired
• Ability to develop technical specifications from high-level business requirementsusing efficient coding techniques to produce well-structured, easily maintainablecode
• Ability to stay focused and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment

The estimated salary range for this positionis $98000 to $98000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
