Job Opportunity: Nephrologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-certified or eligible Nephrologist to become a part of our vibrant and collaborative team of ten specialists in the field. This position is dedicated entirely to Nephrology, providing a unique chance to engage in Academic Nephrology while caring for a diverse patient population.

• Practice general nephrology across various environments, including inpatient consultations, outpatient hemodialysis, general nephrology clinics, and peritoneal dialysis clinics.
• Engage in specialty clinics and provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Receive training in Therapeutic Apheresis techniques and assist in the care of patients requiring Apheresis.
• Participate in scholarly activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and nephrology fellows, as well as conducting clinical research.
• Explore academic opportunities within the Department of Medicine through teaching and research initiatives.
• Contribute to community service by providing care to underserved populations through partnerships with local health systems.

This role involves a mix of clinical settings, allowing for a comprehensive approach to patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and engage in various educational and community outreach activities.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $265,000 to $295,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
