AI Delivery Engine Leader

Position Overview

Servant is seeking an experienced AI Delivery Engine Leader to design and build the next generation of our delivery organization. This leader will architect an AI-first operating model that transforms how ideas move from strategy to production—leveraging AI agents , automation , orchestration , and modern software delivery patterns to dramatically increase speed, quality, and scalability.

The vision is to create a highly automated delivery engine capable of taking ideas from concept through implementation with minimal human intervention where appropriate. While a fully autonomous ("dark factory") model remains an aspirational future state, this role will establish the practical AI factory model that allows small, highly capable teams to deliver work that traditionally required significantly larger organizations.

This individual will work directly with executive leadership to define the architecture, operating model, tooling ecosystem, governance, and implementation roadmap required to modernize Servant's delivery capabilities. They will bridge strategy and execution, bringing deep technical expertise while helping the organization adopt practical AI-enabled ways of working .

Key Responsibilities

Design the AI Delivery Engine

• Architect Servant's AI-first delivery operating model from strategy through implementation and ongoing support.
• Define the workflows, orchestration patterns, automation, and governance required to create a highly efficient AI-enabled delivery organization .
• Develop repeatable delivery frameworks that leverage AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create scalable processes that reduce manual effort while maintaining quality, security, and reliability.

Build the AI Factory

• Design and implement an AI "factory" capable of moving ideas from concept to production through integrated AI workflows .
• Identify where humans remain essential versus where AI can own or significantly accelerate execution.
• Evaluate opportunities to automate planning, requirements generation, architecture, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Establish delivery patterns that enable smaller, highly effective project teams without compromising outcomes.

Drive Technical Transformation

• Evaluate emerging AI platforms , agent frameworks , orchestration tools , and delivery technologies.
• Recommend and implement the tooling ecosystem required to support an AI-first organization .
• Partner with engineering, product, strategy, and delivery leaders to modernize existing processes.
• Bring external perspective from organizations that have successfully implemented AI-enabled delivery models .

Lead Organizational Change

• Assess current delivery processes and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate unnecessary work.
• Help define new roles, responsibilities, and operating rhythms within an AI-enabled organization .
• Guide leaders through organizational change while balancing innovation with practical execution.
• Establish metrics to measure speed, quality, utilization, automation, and delivery effectiveness.

Serve as an Executive Partner

• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI strategy and delivery transformation.
• Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical business value.
• Build a phased roadmap toward increasingly autonomous delivery capabilities.
• Help shape Servant's long-term vision for AI-enabled consulting and software development .

Requirements

Ideal Experience

We're looking for someone who has helped build AI-enabled delivery organizations —not simply experimented with AI tools .

The ideal candidate has:

• Deep technical experience in AI systems , LLMs , agent frameworks , orchestration platforms , and modern software architecture.
• Experience designing AI-first software delivery workflows or "AI factory" operating models .
• A track record of transforming engineering organizations through automation and AI .
• Experience implementing AI across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle .
• Strong understanding of DevOps , CI/CD , automated testing , infrastructure automation , and platform engineering .
• Experience evaluating and integrating emerging AI technologies into enterprise environments.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
• Exceptional communication skills with both executive and technical audiences.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity while building new organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing AI delivery models across multiple organizations.
• Background in software consulting or professional services.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI agent orchestration frameworks and autonomous workflow systems .
• Experience building or operating highly automated engineering organizations.
• Understanding of governance, security, and responsible AI implementation .
