As a Senior Director, Pharmacy STARS for the National Personal Pharmacy Program within UHC Government Programs, you will lead a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and clinical administrators in order to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). In addition, you will lead efforts for operational, clinical, and logistical improvements. This is your opportunity to grow within a pharmacy team focused on clinical and business collaboration.Primary Responsibilities:Lead operational, member-facing national team of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians supporting Part D STAR measuresProvide leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staffOwns an end to end processIdentifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems outside own teamProduct, service, or process decisions are most likely to impact entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external)Work on program implementation teams and contribute to business process design and systems set-up, trouble shooting, and updatesAnalyze data and prepare management summaries related to work stream results and performance management resultsFocus on continual employee engagementPerform other duties as required to support projects contributing to departmental goalsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:PharmD with ResidencyRegistered Pharmacist with license in good standing in IL5+ years of leadership experience guiding teams, initiatives, or products5+ years of clinical program management and/or population health management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with precepting and/or trainingWebEx or other Virtual Training Platform experienceKnowledge of STARS, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid managementIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Excellent verbal and written skillsExcellent time management and prioritization skillsAbility to collaborate with multiple areas of the companyTo protect the health and safety of our workforce, patients and communities we serve, UnitedHealth Group and its affiliate companies require all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment.
