Employment Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Shift: Mon-Fri ( 3rd shift 10pm - 6am)

Job Summary :

To set-up and operate necessary equipment to produce regrind that will meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Be able to start up all machinery and equipment online and make any adjustments necessary to obtain a high quality Regrind
• Responsible for filling out daily shift reports, including logging all necessary production reporting data.
• Assume responsibility for safety and housekeeping by following all safety rules, reporting safety hazards, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Assume responsibility for quality Regrind, ability to dump Regrind and transfer to proper silos
• Assist in the training of new trainees by sharing knowledge and information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience :

Required

• Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to work while standing for long periods
• Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction and communicate the same
• Must work well with others
• Ability to learn and retain information on products, operating procedures, quality requirements, set-ups, etc.
• Ability to work while standing for long periods (2 to 3 hours) and work in areas with temperatures approaching 115 degrees.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and time sensitive work that can change rapidly
• Displays consistent desire to do more than is asked to help coordinate processes to get the job done
