Prep Cook

We also focus on team work as everyone will be cross trained and BOH AND FOH will receive compensation on the tip pool! Duties

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and food processors
• Follow strict food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and utensils
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment during shifts
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service

Experience

• Food industry experience in restaurant is preferred but not necessary. Looking for a hard working individual
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
• Skills in food preparation techniques such as slicing, dicing, and portioning with proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Most notably be comfortable with poultry.
• Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely within a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members and other staff members
