Fleet Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Overview DeVivo Companies currently has a full-time Fleet Technician (3rd Shift) opening at our customer facility in Lancaster, NY. In this role, you will help maintain a dedicated fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers, and 6 yard horses. Shift Schedule & Hours Enjoy a 4-day work week with three consecutive days off. Learn more about us at Why You Will Love Working Here: Compensation of $20.00-54.00/hour Promotion opportunities – we promote from within 4-day work week Overtime potential Medical & dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Flexible spending account Paid time off Paid holidays Uniform & boot program Paid training Factory training Sign-on bonus available for highly qualified technicians Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards Follow established technical & administrative processes Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers Remain current on technical & regulation requirements Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines Position Requirements: 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments Proficient with computer operation/usage Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can-do attitude Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status and any other protected classes.
