Operations Specialist

We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individuals to join our Operations Team (Freight / Internet Fulfillment). In this fast-paced role, you will help keep freight, clothing processing, inventory, and online fulfillment operations running smoothly.


As part of the Operations Team, you will play a key role in receiving shipments, processing incoming apparel by security tagging, pricing, hanging, sizing, sorting, and organizing merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory locations, and fulfilling online customer orders. You'll also assist with freight flow, maintain clean and organized work areas, and help ensure merchandise is processed accurately and made available to customers quickly. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our operations and the quality of our customers' shopping experience-from the sales floor to their doorstep.

Key Responsibilities


Freight

• Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive shipments, verify quantities, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Organize merchandise in the backroom and maintain accurate storage locations.
• Replenish the sales floor by locating and moving merchandise from the backroom.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe freight areas.
• Follow company safety and loss prevention guidelines.

• Process and sort incoming clothing merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare apparel for the sales floor by security tagging, pricing, hanging, sizing, sorting, and organizing products.
• Ensure security tags and pricing are correctly attached to merchandise.
• Replenish and organize clothing products on the sales floor as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and backroom areas.
• Assist with freight processing and support overall team operations.
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and merchandising standards.

• Use inventory systems and technology to locate products on the sales floor and in back stock.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare online customer orders for shipment.
• Arrange and track outgoing shipments and assist with order issues, returns, exchanges, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate order and inventory records.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe fulfillment areas.
• Work as part of a team to support efficient store operations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

• Ability to stand for most or all of the shift and lift, carry, and move products weighing 25+ lbs.

• Previous retail, warehouse, freight, inventory, or fulfillment experience.
• Experience with inventory, order management, e-commerce, or shipping systems.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse technology.
• Experience processing, organizing, or merchandising apparel or other retail merchandise.
• Forklift certification is helpful.
• Basic math, data entry, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service experience.

• • What is the schedule for this job?
  • The schedule for this position includes day and evening shifts Sunday through Saturday between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with Sunday hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shifts are available in 4-, 6-, and 8-hour blocks. This can be a full-time or part-time role, with hours ranging from 18 to 40 per week. Weekend, holiday, and evening availability is required.
