Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and service tasks across electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and repairing production machines and maintaining electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and service tasks.

• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in production machines.

• Maintain electrical equipment including electric motors, control boxes, welders, and PLCs.

• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyor systems, both electrically and mechanically.

• Repair mechanical, electric, and hydraulic motors as well as electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

• Ability to conduct preventive maintenance on various systems.

• Understanding of VFDs and their primary purpose.

• Knowledge of wiring colors associated with 489v AC 3-phase motors.

• Capability to reverse the direction of 3-phase motors.

• Familiarity with the symbol for ground and wiring for 24v DC control.

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a multicraft technician.

• Understanding of mechanical schematics.

• Ability to conduct maintenance repair tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Douglasville, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
