Brunswick believes "Next Never Rests™," and we offer a variety of exciting careers and growth opportunities within united teams defining the future of marine recreation.Quality Control Technician tasks performed may include supporting Lamination, Fabrication, Assembly or Water Test.Duties and Responsibilities:Completion of Internal Auditor CourseComputer KnowledgeStrong Written, Verbal and Communication SkillsAbility to work daily with others in a team environmentKnowledge of area and job tasksAbility to TrainPACE / ISO participation a plusProven Leadership Qualities, including positive attitude, good attendance and promotion of good morale.Ability to read and understand Production ScheduleAbility to read and understand printsAbility to Audit departmental work areasStrong Record Keeping AbilitiesAbility to Multi-TaskWorking knowledge of Procedures, instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality systemKnowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposalAbility to identify Short Stocks and report themAbility to get department inspection and buy-offsSupply computer information as neededOverall Floor KnowledgeUnderstanding of Special InstructionsAbility to work with suspended loads and heavy liftingWorking knowledge of 3 or more areasElectrical, Mechanical and Water Test systems strongly preferred.This position will work predominately at water test.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High School Education or GED equivalentHand Tool KnowledgeWork Experience in FieldAdditional Requirements:Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive wayAbility to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organizationMust be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.Ability to work in a dusty environmentAbility to work in a hot environmentAbility to lift heavy objectsKnowledge of mechanical objectsUnderstanding of computer data systemsSafety Requirements:Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediatelyMust understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agenciesMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators etc.Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where requiredMust be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending standing, etc. with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.The anticipated pay range for this position is $23.02 to $27.55, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
