In this full-time, itinerant role, you’ll collaborate with educational teams and deliver vital services that empower children with hearing challenges to thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Audiology license and proficiency in school-based audiology practice.
• Experience conducting assessments for students with hearing loss and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD).
• Strong ability to support IEP, IFSP, and 504 development, with proven experience contributing to staffing meetings and planning accommodations.
• Familiarity with managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HAT/FM systems, hearing aids, and related amplification technologies.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills, with a collaborative spirit focused on supporting students, families, and school personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel between assigned school sites to provide audiology services during school hours, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and prepare detailed reports for students with auditory needs.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, offer expert recommendations on accommodations and modifications, and consult with educational teams.
• Oversee, order, and troubleshoot HAT/FM equipment and hearing aids.
• Maintain open lines of communication with families, teachers, school administrators, and district staff.
• Collaborate with the DHH team to ensure effective support for students’ auditory access to curriculum.
