In this role you will be assisting the Construction Manager and team for the aerial and underground construction business. Responsibilities will include administrative functions, preparing reports, customer service and all other duties as needed by the department.Why TAK?Full TimePaid WeeklyCompensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually, DOEFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision)Company provided vehicle, laptop, & phonePaid Time Off401(k) with Company Match!25K Company Paid Life InsuranceIndependent Work & Team CollaborationCareer Development & Advancement Opportunities!The RoleDaily field visits to ensure projects are following safety, quality control and productivity standardsDrive projects through systems for final development and budgetingAssists with defining labor and material needs, permitting requirements/needs, infrastructure nodes and plant connection points, locate services and city/county/state requirements and restrictionsDefine projects from job definitions, network integration needs and connection pointsManage overall path planning review, including site pictures, node integration and area resources including buildings, ground, and aerial assetsSupport Quality Control functions; onsite quality control checks, job hazard analysis, safety audits etc.Participate in the development of "Project Packets"Project development for new proposed projectsManage multiple stages of projects, keeping systems and records updatedNetwork and asset knowledge and planning to include aerial and underground assets and network inventory knowledgeProvide excellent customer experience every dayOther duties as assignedRequirements3-5 years of experience working with fiber optic cabling - running, blowing and splicingPrior experience with aerial and underground telecommunications construction and network operations regarding fiber and coax architecture requiredPrior experience managing subcontractor partners is a plusExperience in analytics, economics, budgeting and/or project management preferredOpen to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as neededAbility to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as neededAbility to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build processExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn and utilize software systemsAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customersAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbs as neededAbility to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standingAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains and job sitesValid driver's license required, free from suspensions or revocationsPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
