Medical Front Desk Receptionist

South Tampa Immediate Care – Tampa, FL

South Tampa Immediate Care is looking for a dependable, friendly, and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

This is a fast-paced urgent care environment, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable multitasking, communicating with patients, and keeping the front office running smoothly.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Alternating weekends required
• Weekday and weekend availability
• Must be reliable and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Verify insurance and patient demographics
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Answer phones and assist with patient questions
• Schedule and manage patient flow
• Scan and maintain patient documents
• Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient needs
• Assist with medical records and other front-office responsibilities
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

• Ability to multitask in a busy medical environment
• Previous medical front desk or healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus
• Experience with Experity is a plus
