Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Durham, NC. Duties: Perform accurate and safe venipuncture and blood specimen collection.Collect specimens from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patientsPerform capillary collections as required.Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient signatures following venipuncture.Verify that specimen tubes are properly labeled in the patient's presence.Maintain accurate patient, specimen, and other required records and documentation.Explain collection procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.Maintain patient confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIREDSkills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collectionsInterested?
