Job Description:

Provides professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within an assigned unit. Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. This position is represented by RCHEA.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses patient needs, problems and concerns.
• Performs data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status.
• Assesses learning needs and readiness for learning and evaluates effectiveness of care.
• Documents medical records and keeps electronic records accurate and complete.
• Formulates and individualizes care plans including patient and family in planning.
• Implements thorough, safe, and continuous care, delegating and coordinating as needed.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on care plans.
• Communicates effectively within the healthcare team and maintains compliance with regulations.
• Participates in nursing research activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Compliance with all vaccination requirements for employment and ongoing.
• Participation in E-Verify.
