Certified Music Therapist Part-Time with Guaranteed Hours
In-Person | San Marino & South Pasadena | Starting at $35/hr for first 90 days

Encore Music, a thriving and community-rooted music school with two vibrant locations, is excited to welcome a second Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to our team! Our current therapist now has a full schedule five days a week, and demand continues to growwe have a waitlist and are ready to expand!

This is a rare opportunity to join a flourishing program and help even more students benefit from the healing power of music. Youll receive guaranteed pay for 6 hours per day, 2 days a week to start , with guaranteed pay for both instruction and administrative timeplus a clear path to full-time as your caseload grows.

Compensation Structure:

• $35/hour for direct instruction (up to 5.5 hours per day)

• Paid administrative duties! (up to 3 hours per day)

• Total: 8-hour paid day ( guaranteed 2 days/week with 6+ hours paid each day to start)

• Opportunity to increase hours and days as your schedule fills

Your Role:
Design and lead individualized, goal-oriented music therapy sessions
Collaborate with families and staff to assess and support student progress
Create a warm, welcoming space for students of all ages and abilities

Who You Are:
MT-BC certified (required)
Degree in Music Therapy or equivalent
Comfortable working with diverse populations and age groups
Organized, communicative, and reliable
Excited to grow your caseload in a positive, community-centered setting

Bonus if you can also:

• Teach a secondary instrument

• Lead small group music or movement classes
