Accounting Manager / Controller - Hybrid Opportunity

Locally based commercial real estate ownership is seeking a professional Controller/Accounting Manager that would be directly responsible for full cycle accounting for commercial properties, and corporate accounting. Responsibilities will include

• Managing Property Managers and providing support as needed
• Reviewing A/P and A/R for proper codes
• Reviewing lease terms and information
• Reconciling accounts
• Preparing month and year end
• Conducting account audits
• Managing vendor relations and contract
• Communicating with tenants and providing tenant customer service
• Following up on rent payments as needed
• Processing 1099's
• Paying property taxes online
• Communicating with external CP
• Working with Property Managers to determine property budgets
• Preparing CAM's
• Processing distributions
• Generating financial reports
• Analyzing financials and reviewing with owners
• Providing leadership and guidance on property performance

• Detailed and well organized

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Accounting Management experience in commercial property management
• Advanced Excel
• AppFolio or related software experience
• BS or BA or above in accounting or finance field
