Medical Receptionist (Bilingual preferred) Be the first to give our patients a warm welcome in their care journey. We are seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at Davis Street Community Center.The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our community clinic, providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and employees. The Medical Receptionist will handle a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our Primary Care Clinic. Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:45AM - 5:45PM Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and guests in a professional and friendly manner. Answer and direct high volumes of phone calls in a polite and efficient manner. Check-in patients and ensure patient information is accurate. Appointment scheduling and schedule maintenance. Calls patients daily to confirm next appointment. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Collect and process payments. Maintains confidentiality in accordance to clinic policies and HIPAA requirements. Assist new staff with onboarding. Maintain a neat and organized front desk area. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying. Provide medical records as needed. Notify designated staff of supply needs. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Availability for occasional trainings, meetings and events outside of typical working hours. Other duties as assigned . Requirements 1-year receptionist experience in a clinical environment Bilingual in Spanish/Cantonese preferred High school diploma or equivalent Punctual and maintain regular attendance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street Description Davis Street is busy with many upcoming events and benefits for our community all year round.
