A typical day for an Ultrasound Technologist may include:
- Prepares & sends specimens to labs in the absence of the secretary.
- Prepares exam rooms before patient enters & cleans room following patient's exit.
- Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures by assisting them onto the table & instructing them in the procedure that is being performed.
- Selects & records appropriate images for the permanent
- The sonographer is competent in the production & analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis & treatment.
- In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion & judgement in the performance of sonographic services.

To be considered for this Ultrasound Technologist opportunity, you must:
- Graduate of accredited School of Sonography
- Certified by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/ Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
