This position is office based with the option to work remotely part time. Collaborating with other experienced transportation professionals, you will deliver transportation projects of various sizes and funding sources. This is a great opportunity to develop public sector project management skills!Role accountabilities:Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects,Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality.Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development:Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project.Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, and development of project plans and schedules.Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other Arcadis offices as needed.Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.Adhere to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards.Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications10+ years of progressive highway (State Department of Transportation or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience.Bachelor’s degree in civil engineeringProfessional Engineering license (PE) or PMP considered with relevant work/industry experienceKey AttributesExperience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams.Progressive highway (State Department of Transportation or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience on roadway design projects.Preferred QualificationsTennessee PE license or ability to obtain.Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
