Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

We are looking for an exceptional Loan Officer Assistant/Mortgage Loan Partner to join our growing mortgage team. This is not simply an administrative position. We are looking for someone who can become a true right-hand to the Loan Officer—someone who is highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, knowledgeable about mortgage lending, comfortable with technology, and proactive enough to identify and solve problems before they become issues. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their files, communicates exceptionally well, and understands that their job is to help the Loan Officer save time, provide an exceptional client experience, and close more loans. Responsibilities: Assist with managing mortgage loans from application through closing. Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and potential issues. Help prepare files for underwriting and respond to conditions. Track documentation, deadlines, appraisals, title, insurance, disclosures, and closing requirements. Proactively identify potential problems and bring solutions—not just problems—to the Loan Officer. Communicate professionally with borrowers, Realtors, processors, underwriters, title companies, and other partners. Keep borrowers and referral partners informed throughout the loan process. Manage multiple loans simultaneously while ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. Use Encompass, Optimal Blue, CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, and other technology to manage and improve workflow. Look for ways to automate, streamline, and improve processes. Anticipate what the Loan Officer needs and take action without always being asked. Help create an exceptional borrower and referral-partner experience. Support the Loan Officer in building and maintaining strong referral relationships. Qualifications: 5+ years of mortgage industry experience preferred. Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, Loan Partner, or similar mortgage experience. Experience with Encompass strongly preferred. Experience with Optimal Blue preferred. Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and other mortgage guidelines. Experience managing multiple loans simultaneously. Strong computer and technology skills. Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools. Compensation: $60,000+ yearly

Compensation:
$60,000 per year
