PRECISION PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

As a Precision Brake Operator Level 1, you will form metal stock on an Industrial Press Brake, ensuring every part meets or exceeds customer specifications and productivity standards.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment. This role is vital to consistently meeting customer needs and driving continued national growth.

salary: $37,440 - $45,760 per year
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Select, set up, and operate industrial press brakes and dies to form metal according to blueprints and program specifications.

• Quality & Verification: Read prints and verify that nesting programs match work order blueprints; inspect parts using precise measuring tools.

• Material & Production Flow: Confirm correct materials arrive at the work center, track job progress, accurately project completion times, and properly stage finished parts.

• Machine Care & Maintenance: Ensure the press brake is working properly, ensure correct machine settings/consumables are applied, and immediately notify supervisors of any equipment issues.

• Shop Safety & 5S: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

• General: Complete assignments accurately and on time, performing other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
