Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with our organization, you will be responsible for a range of clinical duties, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to develop in-depth understanding of clients’ needs and histories.

• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and treatment strategies are aligned.

• Providing individual, family, and group psychotherapeutic treatment tailored to the specific challenges faced by clients.

• Acting as a consultant to team members, offering insights and recommendations based on clinical expertise.

• Liaising with community agencies to facilitate resource connection for clients.

• Documenting treatment plans, clinical notes, and evaluations in compliance with established Medical Records policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Currently, Greater Hope serves adult and geriatric populations, with future plans to expand services to include child and adolescent demographics. This diverse client base provides the opportunity to engage with a variety of mental health issues, requiring a thoughtful and informed approach to treatment that addresses the unique challenges presented by different age groups.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding of general theoretical and clinical models relevant to psychotherapy.

• Proven ability to establish effective rapport and therapeutic alliances with clients.
\n
• Skilled in clear and concise clinical note writing and documentation.

• Insight into social work ethics and the scope of practice.
\n
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental status examinations and recognizing changes in mental health status.

• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to create a support system for patients.

• Knowledge of current community resources, particularly concerning income maintenance, mental health treatment, and vocational supports.

• Assertive in advocating for patient needs while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
