Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist Reports to: CX and Marketing Manager. Daily Schedule: 7 AM – 5 PM; Monday – Thursday; weekends and overtime as needed. Position Status: Non‑Exempt; hourly, paid bi‑weekly. The Customer Service Specialist at WEG Coatings works directly with customers and the Sales team to ensure all customer needs are met. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, motivated to take ownership of processes, drive improvements, and contribute to the continued development of overall processes. Responsibilities Manage customer orders and communicate internal personnel regarding customer needs and order status. Process daily invoicing of customer orders. Conduct market research and intelligence on industry trends. Assist Sales Manager in servicing customer demands. Answer phones and greet guests. Assist in other areas as needed. Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other employees. Ability to meet deadlines and perform work in a timely manner. Detail‑oriented, conscientious individual with excellent documentation skills.
