Your responsibilities include: Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections throughout the production process Inspect products during cupping, body making, trimming, washing, printing, coating, necking, flanging, and final production Conduct quality tests for defects including dents, cracks, buckle resistance, coating integrity, and axial load Verify print quality, color consistency, labeling, and overall product appearance Monitor production equipment and process settings to ensure quality standards are maintained Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation Investigate quality concerns and assist in identifying root causes of defectsPartner with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues quickly Support food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of quality control experience in manufacturing Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience using inspection and measuring equipment Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal packaging, beverage can manufacturing, or food packaging Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience with quality documentation and inspection records Understanding of FDA, BRC, ISO, or other manufacturing quality standards Six Sigma or other quality certifications Schedule Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Additional overtime may be available based on production needs.
