About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel/Senior Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will work directly with the General Counsel, providing hands-on legal counsel to ensure the company's legal rights are protected and its operations are in compliance with the law. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to, researching and advising on legal issues, crafting and reviewing legal strategies for litigation and arbitration, and drafting and reviewing various agreements. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, be currently licensed to practice law, and have a minimum of 5-9 years' of legal experience, with a focus on healthcare law. Key responsibilities for this position include advising on healthcare regulatory matters, supporting merger and acquisition transactions, and managing corporate governance issues. The role also requires the ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds, work independently, and maintain confidentiality. Experience in healthcare regulatory matters, M&A, and a strong background in healthcare law are highly preferred. The candidate should be adept at managing outside counsel, developing and delivering training on legal and compliance requirements, and be committed to upholding professional standards and company policies.
